KCP believes that all children have a right to be completely secure from both the fear and the reality of abuse and are committed to protecting all children in our care.
All staff have up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service checks plus a disqualification by association form which is completed annually.
Both managers have attended safer recruitment training which ensures policies and procedures are in place to recruit staff who are safe to work with children.
Any student, volunteer or visitor who does not have a full DBS check (which has been sighted by the company manager) will not AT ANY TIME be left alone with a child.

All rooms display a safeguarding information board, and a copy of our safeguarding policy is given to all new families who register with KCP.
We have a very comprehensive risk assessment detailing all the procedures we have put in place to keep the children safe.
The managers and staff team have worked hard to follow Government guidelines to make KCP a Covid safe setting.
We have installed extra hand sanitising stations, increased our already comprehensive cleaning schedules, introduced weekly fogging with a commercial fogging machine and Covid safe solution.
