Business Owner and Manager
Hello, my name is Ruth Thompson and I have owned and managed KCP since it opened in 2004, my background is in Early Years care and education. I hold an NNEB and have many years of experience within Early Years supporting the children and their families. I have a genuine passion for the Early Years and strive to ensure every child and their family feels part of the ‘KCP’ family. I work with a fantastic staff team and together we create a warm, caring environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Rosie Thompson
Nursery Manager
Hi, my name is Rosie I began my journey at KCP 8 years ago and I am Nursery Manager and the designated SEND Coordinator. I have a BA Honours in Early Years Education and attend regular SENDCo training and meetings. I am very passionate about early years and I am a strong believer in child led learning, allowing the children the freedom to follow their interests and minds sparks so many amazing learning opportunities.
Kerry McDonald
Deputy Manager, Staff Training and Development Manager
Hello, my name is Kerry McDonald I have worked at KCP since 2010. I have a BA Hons in Early Childhood studies and have also gained Early Years Professional Status. I have 2 children and have 15+ years’ experience working in Early Years. I have a particular interest in supporting early childhood development and helping children thrive.

Tiny Developers Room Leader
Hi my name is Paula, I have worked at KCP since 2006. I have an NNEB qualification and many years of experience. I really enjoy welcoming new babies into out KCP family and helping them to develop and become independent happy little people.
Corrin Villiers
Mini Explorers Room Leader
Hi I am Corrin and I have been working at KCP since 2013. I have a level 3 in children and young peoples work force and I am also a Designated Safeguarding Leader. I enjoy every day working in early years as each day is different, watching each child develop in their own unique ways as we provide an exciting and stimulating environment, I love seeing their faces light up when they come in each morning ready to get messy.

Littler Adventurers Room Leader
Hello, my name is Kelly. I have been a part of the KCP family since 2018. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce, I am also a Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have a daughter and over 10 years of early years experience. I have always enjoyed looking after children, it is so rewarding watching them learn and grow and supporting them along the way with all areas of development.
Chetna Mistry
Young Investigators Room Leader
Hello, my name is Chetna I joined KCP last September and work with the Pre-School age group. I have my BA Hons in Early Years Education and have been working within Early Years for many years gaining lots of experience and knowledge. I am very passionate about Early Years and am always adding to my Continuous Professional Development to ensure I am providing the best teaching and learning experiences for all the children.
